Originally a car showroom, it became Jonesy's in the 80s. Later becoming the Tsar Bar with a Russian theme for a time then The Green Mango before finally becoming the Light Bar (at the moment!). The upper floor was Bubbles Nightclub which later became The Factory. Jamie Hewlett of Tank Girl and Gorillaz fame did the artwork inside. Update 2015: Now Retro Bar |

| My memory of it was I was too young to get in when it was the Tzar Bar but while at Worthing sixth form college we had our Christmas parties down there, in fancy dress. This was around 1998-2000. We'd then go into the club which was then called the Q club, it changed to Liquid lounge in 2001 after being spruced up and stairs to the downstairs bars being built to increase the overall venue size. But my mates and I missed the rough and ready feel of the Q, just a big dance floor with a few tables and seats at the far end. Great times! | |
