1935: An application was made at the Brewsters Sessions to erect a licensed premises at the corner of South Farm Road and Wiston Avenue, to be known as 'The Wistons' Although the article doesn't make clear, we suspect it was a Tamplin's Brewery project.

Left: Not 100% sure, this corner plot remained empty  up until at least 1974 and may have been the site they had in mind.

We couldn't find any further information so we don't know if it was refused, objected or withdrawn.
