To be qualified for a listing
to be listed here the premises have to sell beer (or did
historically), and with a name like The Whiskey Rooms, it would be
thought unlikely, but we're pleased to say this isn't the case -
they have three draught beers and bottles.
Note worthy is the name over
the bar, 'Whisk(e)y Rooms'
traditionally the Scottish version was without the 'e' but the
American, and others is with. Clearly the owners have hedged their
bets and covered both to save augment. |

The
inspiration behind the Whiskey Rooms comes from the owners, Jason
Walls and Kate Mitchell, who have both spent time behind the bar.
They offer
whiskey from around the world as their specialty, along with cider,
wine, and cocktails as well as ale, lager, including gluten free.
The premises present as a comfortable vintage-themed environment for
enjoying a tipple whilst playing games or reading a book.
Interesting to note that entry is only open to over 21s and limited
to 48 persons at the time of writing. |
