Situated at
19-23 South Street in the Montague Quarter, next door to McDonald's,
is the entrance to the sports bar upstairs.
Since the demise of the snooker rooms above the arcade on the
seafront, they have moved on to the upstairs of the old Bental's
store.
Although we haven't visited, it does strike us as a snooker/pool
room with a bar, rather than somewhere to have a social drink, but
they do host social nights and league meetings. However, saying
that, it's interesting. |

The building
contains, at the time of writing, 6 snooker tables, 6 American pool
tables, 12 English 8-ball pool tables and 6 dart boards.
Unusually there is a glow in the dark, 12-hole crazy golf course,
open to groups and families, including children. |
