The Rocking Horse has come a long way from Saks Hair & Beauty Salon. Igor Beaulieu is the man behind the idea (and bar). A Chef and 'Mixologist' of 20 years' experience with a French origin. Igor opened the bar on the 23rd of July 2014.

The most striking features are the subdued colours and re-purposed furniture, something of which he is particularly proud. The horse influence is seen, but other unique pieces are dotted about.

One thing it isn't is a bar as we know it. There is a wide range of wines and spirits, with cocktails being a specialty. However, he is keen to source local craft brews in the near future.

The Rocking Horse is no more: We don't know what date it changed, but it became Heartbreakers, a cocktail bar, and in marked contrast to its predecessor.

Normally that would be the end of it, but they do, at the time of writing, have two beers, both Brewdog and more than likely bottled.
